While it’s true that money never sleeps, people have to; yet someone has to keep the wheels of commerce rolling.  Hauling the packages, people, and profits across the global economy requires boldness, stamina, and a spirit of adventure, and Long Haul Helper (LHH) is the perfect partner to cozy up with throughout that long, dark night.

A bold, thick-bodied coffee, LHH’s dark roast grabs your taste buds and shakes them awake, letting them know that as the sun sets, it’s time to go to work.  The Mexican Organic Nayarit Dry-Process provides a baseline of deep, bittersweet chocolate; just enough to offset the bite of the Panama Guyami Indian Robusta Rustico which provides twice the caffeine of an Arabica bean along with a fruited flavor punch that keeps your mind sharp and your tongue guessing.  As the night wears on and your coffee cools, the bright tangy flavors from the Nicaraguan Limoncillo Pacamara Dry-Process emerge to spice up those last hours before sunrise, the toughest of the night.  Then, just as a reddish-orange wave of light washes over the horizon and flows towards the opposite horizon, LHH’s smooth finish carries you through to your destination.

LHH is dedicated to all those who keep the gears of capitalism turning by air, road, rail, or sea.  Long Haul Helper (The Anti-Redeye Blend) from Tailored Blends Coffee has the taste, the caffeine, and the boldness for what’s really important; getting you home safely.

         Why Buy From Us?

Freshness - Coffee begins to age as soon as it's roasted. After two weeks the flavor begins to lose its vitality, and after one month you can definitely call your coffee old. The best you can hope for, even when packaged correctly, is about one month. We roast the highest grade beans and ship them within 24 hours so that you have the freshest possible coffee in your cup.

Individuality- Over-roasting causes each coffee to begin to taste similar. The only way to distinguish the fruity highlights of an Ethiopian coffee from the milk-chocolate sweetness of a Columbian is by roasting it just enough to fully roast the bean, yet not so much that the flavor oils become scorched and you're left with the same smoky, charred flavor for each type of bean. We roast each bean to its optimum roast level, bringing out the region's "terroir," processing style, and unique flavor.

* Variety - There are great beans from all over the world: Rwanda, Uganda, Peru, El Salvador, Timor, and Australia, just to name a few. When you buy from the supermarket or the national conglomerate, you are limited to the areas that can sustain mass production. These may or may not be the best quality or the most interesting. We order green beans from all over the world, depending on where the best coffee is, not for any other reason.
